2nd Post for Tuesday:

Lisa Dugan's father passed away today.  Please keep Lisa and her family in your thoughts and prayers.  Please wait until tomorrow to contact her.
From Gil Hewlett:
Come join us for this fun cook off. The City of Marshall is going all out for us. They want to make this cook off an annual event. Our Annual ETCCO will go back to its regular time the first weekend in October unless the drought or something else prohibits it.

From Jim Ezell:

It was good to see TICC Champion Larry Walton travel to visit CASI Sponsors: McCormick Distilling, Weston, MO, home of Tequila Rose and Overland Park, KS, home of Outlaw Cigar. The use of the travel fund helps to promote CASI and aid sponsorship. Both these sponsors have renewed their commitment for 2012.

We would also like to welcome our newest Friend of CASI Sponsor; Dave and Liz Livingston of Austin, TX. Dave made the trip to Kansas with us and has joined Liz as a new cook. Thanks for your support!

From Larry (Doc) Kinnison:
Will you be wearing this apron by Saturday night?  You have a chance if you come and cook at the 41 Howdy Roo CCO this weekend in beautiful Marble Falls.

NOTE:  Please remember that today is the day to send me your Poster design.

Referees and Head Cooks:  Remember that you are responsible for making a CookOff go smoothly and correctly.  You need to help the promoter.  Make contact with that promoter, make sure that they have all the needed supplies, be there at Registration and assist them through the process!  I have had several reports from several CCOs that this did not happen and the CCO was not a real success!

Happy May Day to each of you.  We didn't get much rain in April, but I am still hopping we have lots of May Flowers!
