It is with much sorrow that we are reporting the loss of another long time chili cook. Barbara Fox passed away earlier this evening. Frank is surrounded by his family and is doing okay. As of now the services are pending. Please keep Frank and the family in your thoughts and prayers.

The Concho Valley Chili Pod is having a 2 day CCO. The CCOs are going to be at Water Valley Park, Water Valley, TX. Sunday's CCO benefits MDA. There will be Jackpot Beans. Entry Fee $5. Turn in is 12:00 Noon. Chili's Entry fee is $18.00. Turn in at 2:00 PM. There will be a cake auction and a 50/50 drawing. Sunday night, there will be a Pot Luck Dinner. Monday's CCO benefits the CASI Scholarship Fund. Chili entry Fee is $18.00. Turn in will be 12:00 Noon. Both CCOs are Chili Grind Only. This is the last long weekend of the Summer. There are lot's of CCOs available to attend. Your only 4 weeks from the end of our Chili Year. Good Luck to everyone of you chasing points.
